Borussia Monchengladbach are keeping tabs on Andreas Christensen's situation at Chelsea.
The Denmark defender has expressed his frustration at a lack of action he's seen this season under manager Maurizio Sarri.
Express says Gladbach chief Max Eberl has welcomed Christensen's outburst, having made it no secret he'd welcome the defender back after a successful two season loan.
The defender said earlier this week: "It's a very tough and, frankly, very difficult season for me. I do not have much patience anymore. Now I am 22 years old and really want to play.
"In the past three years, I've done a lot on the pitch. I do not see myself staying unless the situation changes in the future."
A return to Gladbach in January is now a prospect Eberl is eager to explore.
