Giulianelli EXCLUSIVE: Man Utd want Lazio's Milinkovic-Savic; Why Liverpool could miss De Vrij; Chelsea, AC Milan told Pellegri price;

At this point we can tell that, despite the transfers window having just expired in September, players from Serie A are among the most pursued by Premier League clubs for January.

Or even for the next summer, because in today's football, transfers never stop and big clubs are always active in planning and building their squads for the future. The scouts have always their eyes wide open to see if there are interesting talents all over the world and, in this sense, Italy has become a land of conquest. Or, better saying, a land of pursuing, because not so often the assaults to Italian players come to a good end for their pretenders: for example, take a look at what has happened last summer with Andrea Belotti.

MOURINHO & MILINKOVIC-SAVIC

One of the names that has been for some time on the Premier League scouts' notes is the Serbian winger Sergej Milinkovic-Savic: born in 1995 in Spain, Sergej has been one of the main protagonist of the qualification of Serbia to the next World Cup of Russia 2018.

Last summer he was courted heavily by Liverpool, but then they worked out to take Salah in that role. Milinkovic-Savic is now under the lens of Manchester United, with Mourinho who's always very attentive to what happens in Italian Serie A, surely for the links he has from his experience with Inter.

Lazio won't sell for less than £62m, but it seems that the Red Devils are very interested to take a place at that table. Oh and his brother, Vanja, used to play for United.

LAZIO WILL FIGHT TO KEEP DE VRIJ

Lazio are one of the most interesting clubs in the start of the season and so their players are attracting much interest from all over Europe. Another one who is a target of English clubs is centre back Stefan De Vrij. The eyes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool are on him. The Dutch defender seems close to sign a new contract with Lazio; from that point the hypothesis will be two. One is that De Vrij will become a pillar of the club for a long time and the club will reject any offer for him; the second is that a new contract, maybe long and with a big wage, could work well to rise up his price for a future sale.

NO WAY BACK FOR PERISIC

Don't trust in the rumours about Perisic close to Manchester United. I mean, of course Mourinho would like very much to have the Croatian winger for his United, for his project of a side that can be able to come back to top levels in England and in Europe.

But Luciano Spalletti considers Perisic essential for his Inter, in the present as in the future and the Chinese ownership isn't in a need of selling players. The feeling is that Inter will keep all their top players in order to come back to the big time. To the Mourinho times, maybe.

CONTE & JOSE KNOW PELLEGRI PRICE

And what about the Italian wonderkid Pietro Pellegri? Please take a note of his name on your notebook, you will hear very much talking about him in the very next future. Pellegri was born in 2001 and at the age of 16 he has already played 7 matches with Genoa in Serie A and, above all, he has already scored 3 goals in the main Italian league. He is 1.96 m tall and the comparison with Ibrahimovic is very easy to be done.

Conte, Mourinho, but even PSG, Milan and Juventus are very interested in taking this incredible talent, even from the next winter. The price is about €45m, but the big number of top pretenders won't do anything else to increase his value on the market.

Let's see. What's sure is that Premier League clubs have more and more their eyes on the Italian Serie A and in January we will see many things. Maybe nothing, or very few things, will happen: but this is transfers market and we like it even for how it is.
