The Leicester player is still number two in the list of options, as Wenger likes Lemar more.
In the meanwhile, West Ham have enquired about Lucas Perez.
MAN UTD TRANSFER DELAY
The issue is very similar to what I've written about Morata: United are playing hardball, Monaco want them to cough up the right amount of money. The difference in this moment, between asking price and the offer, is about €10m, but United are very confident of sealing the deal because the player wants to join only them.
Two different players, the same story: hardball, difficulty in closing deals; from this aspect comes the dissatisfaction of José Mourinho, who wants new signings immediately.
So, what's the matter with Manchester United? The guilt seems to have been found in Ed Woodward: Mourinho is not happy over how he's negotiating transfers.
ETO'O SET TO JOIN CAPELLO IN CHINA
Fabio Capello himself has asked for a big name for his Chinese adventure.
He wants Samuel Eto'o to become a new player of Jiangsu Suning; an official offer hasn't been submitted yet, but Walter Sabatini will do what is needed to give the Italian manager the striker he wants. Of course, Sabatini is now in charge at Inter, which are owned by Suning.
It must be noted that Eto'o obtained an incredible goal winning the treble with Inter, managed by José Mourinho and now he can again become part of the same family seven years later.
MILAN WON'T SIGN JUST ONE DONNARUMMA
As I wrote in my last column, nothing was compromised with Donnarumma and Milan and their young goalkeeper has sat down again at the same table to find an agreement.
They will sign a new contract of the incredible amount of €6m per year until 2023 for the 18-year old star.
But it's not enough: Dad has ordered that Milan purchase his older son Antonio Donnarumma from Asteras Tripolis, to become their second or third choice goalkeeper. Antonio will have a wage of €1m per year. A good family deal.
