Olivier Giroud has welcomed Gonzalo Higuain to Chelsea.

The striker arrived last week from Juventus - via a loan with AC Milan - and made his debut for the FA Cup win over Sheffield Wednesday.

Giroud says he and his teammates were impressed by the Argentine on Saturday.

"It's a good start for him," said the Frenchman.

"He must get used to the pace because it is totally different from Serie A. But yes, of course, he will score goals for us."
