Girona are set to re-sign Manchester City midfielder Douglas Luiz before tomorrow's transfer deadline.

RAC-1 says City will send Luiz on-loan to Girona for the new season.

The Brazilian, 20, would be with City this term, but the FA blocked their UK work permit application.

Luiz was expected to join Porto this week, but Girona are using their partnership with City to sign Luiz.

The midfielder impressed last season with the LaLiga surprise packet.
