Girona management are unhappy with the impact of this season's loanees from Manchester City.

City Football Group hold a stake in the Segunda Division outfit and sends a group of young City players on-loan to Girona every season.

However, this term's players - goalkeeper Arijanet Murici, right-back Yan Couto, and forwards Nahuel Bustos and Pablo Moreno - have battled to win over coach Franciso.

Only Moreno, a summer City signing from Juventus, has found a place in Francisco's XI. The striker is a former Barcelona junior.

Questions are being asked in Catalonia over the value of the partnership, with many of City's loanees failing to meet expectations. Patrick Roberts, Chidiebere Nwakali, Rubén Sobrino, Pablo Marino, Marlos Moreno and Larry Kayode all struggled for consistency during their time with the club.
