Giorgios Samaras has won a contract with Real Zaragoza.

The former Manchester City and Celtic striker had been playing in Oklahoma in the US and joins Zaragoza as a free agent.

Samaras has signed a deal to the end of the season.

The striker was also in talks with New York Cosmos last week, but agreed to a deal with Zaragoza.

Samaras will be in Spain on Tuesday for his medical.
