Fiorentina striker Alberto Gilardino insists the players are right behind coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.
The Viola have lost two on the bounce to heap pressure on the new gaffer.
Gilardino said: "We are going through a not so good moment. It's difficult. But we are conscious that only by staying united and getting victories can we come out of it well like we have done in the past.
"We certainly expected a different start, but it's still too soon to talk and to give snap judgements. We are only in Week 3 of the season.
"We know that we can and must do more. There are still many games ahead of us. We must find the enthusiasm again that allows us to win games.
"I am sorry to see things written or hear certain words, which are absolutely false [regarding the dressing room being split].
"If this group has done what it has in recent years, it's because a strong spirit has been created in the dressing room a strong spirit, a spirit of a real team.
"As for these criticisms, we'll become even stronger. The team is united. The squad is united.
"We are with Mihajlovic. We have been working with him for four or five months only thinking about helping him because he is giving everything, his heart and spirit, trying to do well."
