Former Italy striker Alberto Gilardino says AC Milan fans can be excited about their new owners.

Elliott Management took over from Yonghong Li last summer.

"The new Milan? There is great enthusiasm, (Rino) Gattuso is growing game after game. They will have a good championship," Gilardino told TMW.

"Scudetto? Juve is the team to beat, it improves every year."
