Gigi Buffon is delighted with his new contract at Serie BParma.

The Juventus great, 44, has penned a new deal to 2024.

Buffon said: “Today is a good day for me and for all my family. I have renewed my contract with Parma until 2024. A few months ago I came back here because of the deep bond I've always had with the city and the people. Now this bond is even stronger.

“I believed in the project of the president and this new club from the beginning, that's why I was convinced I could give my contribution and I want to continue to give it for the next years.

“I hope the fans and the city are happy, as are my children. Today all four of them were with me: thanks to them, but especially to Ilaria, I never feel the weight of age! Only fresh energy, positive energy and beautiful dreams to realise together!"
