Giggs to tell Mourinho he will leave Man Utd

Ryan Giggs is reportedly ready to tell Jose Mourinho he wants to leave Manchester United.

According to The Sun, the Welshman has flown back to England from a holiday in Dubai to inform incoming United boss Mourinho that he will end his 29-year relationship with the club.

It is understood that Mourinho is eager to find a role for Giggs, 42, but the former assistant of Louis van Gaal is not impressed with the job he has been offered and will now leave Old Trafford for pastures anew.

Mourinho will have trusted right-hand man Rui Faria at his side meaning Giggs will certainly be demoted and that does not sit well with the Red Devils legend who has his sights set on senior management in his own right.
