Wales coach Ryan Giggs believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can lead Manchester United to Champions League glory.

Giggs has been delighted with their revival under his former Red Devils team-mate Solskjaer following Jose Mourinho's axing in December.

Giggs, who won the Champions League in 1999 and 2008, insisted: “I don't see why not when he's gone to PSG with the team he's got and won. There are worse teams that have done well and got to finals.

“They have undoubtedly got the quality and the confidence at the moment. There are still some big teams in there. It will be difficult, but not impossible.

“Comparisons to Chelsea under Di Matteo have been made, so the same result and we'll be happy."
