Giggs has confirmed Bale will not play against Spain tonight over 'fatigue' issues.
The decision arrives after Telemadrid reported Real board members deemed it "unacceptable" that the prospect of Bale playing for Wales tonight was even being considered.
Bale failed to finish the defeat at Alaves on Saturday night, just as he did in the 0-0 draw with Atletico Madrid. On both occasions, the Welshman cited knocks for his withdrawal. However, it's claimed post-match tests after the Atletico stalemate produced no signs of injury.
Along with his fragile fitness, Real chiefs are also unhappy with Bale's refusal to speak Spanish in public. With Cristiano Ronaldo now gone, there had been hopes of Bale filling the leadership breach. However, Bale remains an outsider amongst the squad and is showing no enthusiasm to be the public face of the club.
