Giggs: Man Utd ownership group want 25,000 seat stadium for Salford City

Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has revealed plans for a 25,000-seat stadium for Salford City, a club he co-owns with his Class of '92 teammates.

Giggs, along with co-owners Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt, were present at the launch of TV documentary 'A Class of 92: Out Of Their League' on Wednesday and revealed their plans for the Northern Premier League club.

Giggs said: "Our aspirations are to be in the football league and have a 25,000 seater stadium. We can't do that without someone like Peter Lim. We needed his investment, his expertise."

The Class of 92 owns 50 per cent of the club with the other half owned by their Singaporean billionaire friend Peter Lim.
