Giggs lauds former Man Utd team-mate Beckham

Ryan Giggs is confident David Beckham will continue his illustrious playing career for another three to four years. The 34-year-old AC Milan loanee is set to go head-to-head with Manchester United for the first time in his career this week.

Milan entertain the Red Devils in the first leg of their last 16 UEFA Champions League clash at the San Siro on Tuesday night.

The pair played alongside each other at Old Trafford for a decade and the Welsh wizard knows Beckham still looks after himself.

"We are different in the sense he has been in the limelight, front page and back, while I prefer to keep myself to myself," explained Giggs.

"But I still speak to him. He has not changed as a person.

"He has always loved football. He has always been dedicated and that is still the same now.

"Like myself, Becks looks after himself.

"He is naturally fit and is a natural athlete, so I am not surprised he is still going at all.

"In fact I reckon he will keep going for another three or four years."
