Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs admits Wednesday night's Champions League clash with Anderlecht was a frustrating affair.
The England left-back scored a timely equaliser in the 89th minute before Lukas Podolski slammed home an injury-time winner to give the Gunners a 2-1 result away from home.
Arsenal appeared to have gotten out of jail with the two late goals but Gibbs felt they could have controlled the match a lot earlier if their final pass had been better.
"I felt we'd controlled lots of the game but final ball let us down massively and that was frustrating," he said.
"We had to keep probing, and we did that. I've got to give massive credit to the boys, we didn't give up. It wasn't easy to come here, we kept going, and it was difficult to get the win."
Gibbs was quizzed further on why he and his teammates only began to really play late in the game after Andy Najar had put Anderlecht ahead but was unable to give a clear response.
"No, if I knew that we wouldn't have this problems," he added.
"But the boys are working extremely hard, everyone's fighting for each other, and another big game at the weekend (against Sunderland in the Premier League) so we have to concentrate on that now.
"We'll give 100% for the team, have to keep doing that, some days it doesn't happen, but we'll remain professional and focused."
