Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has been attacked by the agent of Emanuele Giaccherini.

Giaccherini joined Napoli after Euro 2016, but managed just Serie A appearances across two seasons before joining Chievo.

“The damage done to us by Sarri was incredible," Furio Valcareggi fumed on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“Giaccherini was a player who was highly-rated at international level and he stopped him playing. For us Sarri was like an avalanche in the face, Emanuele didn't deserve to be cast out like that.

“I'm absolutely certain that, had Giaccherini remained at Napoli, with Ancelotti he'd play."
