Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi was delighted with the impact of Antonio Cassano last season.
Cassano's deal was a gamble for Parma, which in the end paid off.
Ghirardi also praised the work of sports chief Pietro Leonardi: "Cassano? I have to say he was great. He took a pay cut to come here and he has had his rewards.
"Leonardi also deserves a lot of credit in this Parma. You win together and lose together, Leonardi represents the club.
"But the credit goes to all the players, the club and the staff.
