Everton will visit Ghana as part of their preseason plans this year.

It will be the first time the FA Cup runners-up have played in west Africa.

However their opponents for the 12 July game have yet to be named, a public vote in Africa will decide whether they play Asante Kotoko or Hearts of Oak.

However, Everton will go with an under-strength squad as the majority of their international players who will be on an extended summer break.
