Arsenal know they can sign Getafe defender Djene Dakonam for a buyout clause.
AS says the Gunners are keen on Djene, who has been recommended to their transfer team by new manager Unai Emery.
Arsenal have already made contact with Getafe president Angel Torres, who immediately referred them to his buyout clause.
The Gunners know they can sign Djene for a set fee of €35m.
Togo international Djene, 26, moved to Getafe only last year from Belgium's Sint-Truidense.
