Getafe coach Jose Bordalas has been left disappointed by the sacking of Ernesto Valverde by Barcelona.

Valverde was dumped on Monday by Barca and replaced by Quique Setien.

Bordalas offered is opinion on the episode, stating: "I have a lot of love for Ernesto Valverde and I think his dismissal has been unfair.

"Barcelona is the leader in the LaLiga, is alive in the Champions League and in the Cup. Whoever says otherwise does not tell the truth.

"It has surprised us all.

"I wish Quique Setién the best."
