GET OUT! Zidane decides Real Madrid squad 'needs revolution'

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has performed a U-turn over squad planning for next season.

After assessing his resources since his celebrated return, Zidane has told president Florentino Perez that their approach has to be 'revolution rather than evolution'.

Zidane believes a radical overhaul is needed, reports Mundo Deportivo, with Gareth Bale, Dani Ceballos, Marcos Llorente and Mariano Diaz all to be told to move on.

The coach also has doubts about Marcelo, Isco, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos and would be willing to see one or more of that senior group depart.

For his part, Florentino is delighted as he was always planning to tear up the squad this summer - though had assured Zidane he would only do so on his recommendation.

Zidane had planned few changes initially, but the defeat at Rayo Vallecano was the last straw and with it the realisation massive changes are needed.
