Liverpool U18 coach Steven Gerrard has left the door open to a summer move for Roma goalkeeper Alisson.

Gerrard admits he's a big fan of the Brazil international.

“He must be a great goalie," Gerrard said of Alisson.

“I haven't really seen that much of him but there has been a lot of speculation.

“What I would say is the Liverpool keeper Karius has settled down a lot, he's been playing really well, keeping clean sheets.

“But, this fella does deserve the praise he is getting of late. He makes world-class saves, he's up quick, he makes second saves. A world-class keeper no doubt."
