Gerrard and Gattuso considered at Olympiakos

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard's path back into management is being blocked by an unlikely figure.

Gerrard, who has not coached since being sacked by Aston Villa in November, did enjoy success in charge of Rangers in Scotland.

The legendary midfielder could be looking at taking charge in Greece with Olympiacos.

Greece's sport-fm states that Gerrard is not the ideal choice for the Greek club.

Instead, they are hoping to lure Gennaro Gattuso, the former AC Milan midfielder.

Gattuso and Gerrard have history, with the latter winning out in the 2005 Champions League final and Gattuso getting his revenge in the final in 2007.
