Germany believe they've struck a first blow ahead of tonight's U21 European Championship final by claiming the same red shirts that England wore to victory in 1966.
As the home side, they were due to wear white but changed their mind.
A Three Lions source told The Sun: "It isn't ideal. The kit man was all done and dusted but then had to be up all night changing everything around."
German boss Horst Hrubesch said: "I asked the players and they said they wanted to wear red."
