Germany coach Joachim Low has taken a fresh dig at Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil.
The 30-year-old retired from international football after the World Cup - citing the backlash he received from his meeting with Turkish president Recep Erdogan.
Low arrived at Arsenal's training ground in September hoping to talk to Ozil over the decision. But the player rebuffed his national boss and Low spoke to Arsenal's other German stars Bernd Leno and Shkodran Mustafi.
"I was extremely disappointed that he did not personally inform me," he told Aktuelle Sportstudio over the weekend.
"Everyone knows that I'm always ready to talk, but that's one of them two in addition.
"There was no signal from Ozil.
"I would have liked it differently, but if it has to be that way now, then it is so."
