Germany football director Oliver Bierhoff says they're planning for the Euros with Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane being part of the squad.

Sane has recovered from early season knee surgery and expected to see action next month.

Bierhoff told BILD: "My feeling is positive. I am convinced that Leroy is ready for the Euros. I was with him in Manchester two weeks ago. He made a very good and fit impression, he's already played for Man City's U23. I'm counting on him for the European Championship.

"He's really very positive. He has no more problems. It's been six and a half months already."
