German FA confirm talks with Bayern Munich coach Flick

The German Football Association are holding talks with Bayern Munich coach Hansi Flick.

Bayern have already announced Flick's departure in the summer, and his replacement in Julian Nageslmann.

Now the DFB says they are conversing with Flick about taking over from Joachim Low after the summer European Championships.

Low has been in charge of the German national side for more than 15 years, helping the team to win the 2014 World Cup.

"It is well known that Hansi Flick is held in high esteem by the DFB. We can confirm that, against this background, we will now hold talks with him and those responsible at FC Bayern," the DFB told SID.

"We are currently not going to comment on the further procedure, which we will initially coordinate internally with all parties involved with all due care and calm."
