Gera's agent charged by FA over Fulham move

The FA have charged agent Sam Stapleton over his involvement in the transfer of Zoltan Gera to Fulham last year. Stapleton is alleged to have breached agents regulations by acting for Fulham in the July 2008 deal having represented Gera in contract negotiations with West Brom the previous month.

Stapleton is also charged with "failing to enter into a written representation contract with the player and/or failing to lodge the representation contract with The FA", according to a statement on the governing body's website.
