Gera targets West Brom return within four weeks

Zoltan Gera is expecting to be back in the fray with West Bromwich Albion within a month.

The 34-year old Hungarian midfielder, who signed a one-year deal recently, has been sidelined for much of the past two seasons with knee injuries.

However, Gera is now back in training and hoping to be available for Baggies boss Steve Clarke before the end of September.

"It's a super feeling (to be back in training). I have been looking forward to this day for a long time. I had surgery exactly seven months ago," he posted on Facebook.

"I hope I'll be ready to play in three to four weeks, but I won't hurry."
