Former Panathinaikos defender Georgios Vagiannidis admits Inter Milan had major competition for his signature.
The youngster is joining Inter on a free transfer at the end of this month.
He told SempreInter: "My agents told me about this possibility after the lockdown in Greece, in the first moment I found a deal about joining Inter.
"I signed for four years and I have no idea if there is a clause, I don't care.
Manchester City and Monaco held interest in the Greek who, however, when Inter came forward, lost all doubt about his future.
"Serie A has always been high on my wish list."
