Genoa wing-back Diego Laxalt is a target for Zenit St Petersburg.

Laxalt is considering his options this month.

“Zenit really like Laxalt and spoke to Genoa, they asked for information. Now the Russian club has changed sporting director, and soon the contact will start again.

“Last year after the failed transfer to Atalanta, the president of Genoa, [Enrico] Preziosi, promised to Diego that he would let him go him in one season if an appropriate offer arrived for him and the club.

“Genoa value him at €20m, we're waiting for the parties to talk again after the change of sporting director at Zenit.

“What's certain is that Diego is very happy at Genoa, this city and this team are his second home."
