Genoa have been sold to American investment firm 777 Partners.
The Serie A outfit has changed hands for €150m.
777 Partners is a Miami-based private investment firm that 'invests across a number of high growth attractive verticals with a strong focus on financial services.' They also own minority shares of La Liga side Sevilla.
Enrico Preziosi bought Genoa in 2003 after the club's relegation to Serie C1.
It is expected that Preziosi will remain as a minor shareholder and involved for the next three years.
