Genoa president Enrico Preziosi isn't surprised seeing Krzysztof Piatek succeed with AC Milan.

Piatek netted 19 goals for Genoa in the first half of the season and has since followed up with seven more for Milan, whom he joined in a €35m deal last month.

“It doesn't surprise me that Piatek is scoring so much," Preziosi told reporters.

“For me he'll reach 35 goals. I expect him to do that, otherwise I wouldn't have sold him for so much.

“I understand the Genoa fans aren't happy about the deal, but we had to do it. I wish him all the success he deserves."
