Genoa president Enrico Preziosi admits Napoli are keen on Krzysztof Piatek.

Local reporter Raffaele Auriemma says Napoli are chasing the Pole - via Preziosi.

“I can confirm Napoli are interested in him [Piątek] and [Christian] Kouamè," Auriemma quotes Preziosi as saying.

“But so far nobody from Napoli has sent me anything official to ask for these two players, so right now we just have 'chats' as have often happened between Genoa and Napoli.

“See, for example, the cases of [Diego] Milito, [Rodrigo] Palacio, [Domenico] Criscito and [Mattia] Perin.

“With Perin, for example, we talked for a long time but never closed the deal. Then De Laurentiis called me to offer €5m more when I'd already sold him to Juventus.

“We're willing to negotiate, but I think it's very hard to close a deal with De Laurentiis!"
