Genoa midfielder Stefano Sturaro is proud of his goal against Juventus.
Sturaro scored against his former club for victory last week.
"Looking back, the win was even more beautiful as the Curva Nord was full of joy, the Nord where I rooted for Milito, Motta, Criscito and Juric, whom I learned a lot from as a player and Coach," he told Secolo XIX.
“It was the perfect day for Genoa and I. A mix of emotions, anger, happiness and a break from a long injury, which still gives me a hard time.
“I'm working very hard. It'll take time, but I'm on the right track. My goal on a par with those I scored against Bayern and Napoli with Juve? No, I put this one first.
“It's a starting point for Genoa and I. I grew up here, now I'm back and it's not a step backwards.
“For me, Genoa were a dream and remained so. Now I have to start again after some time out and this family atmosphere is ideal for me."
