Portsmouth midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng is on the brink of a move to Genoa.

The Ghana international was undergoing a medical last night ahead of completing his transfer to the Serie A club.

Portsmouth have agreed to hand over Boateng in a transfer worth £5.5m, including Anthony Vanden Borre returning to Fratton Park.

The Belgian spent last season on loan at Portsmouth and would make the move permanent as part of this exchange deal.
