Genoa are in advanced talks to sign Hertha Berlin striker Krzysztof Piatek.

Sky Italia says the Poland international is on the verge of returning to his former club. The Grifone has reached an agreement with Hertha over a loan deal with an option to buy for €17m.

The move is now dependent on Piatek, who is yet to agree to the move.

The 26-year-old has scored one goal in nine Bundesliga appearances this season.

He first joined Genoa in 2018 scoring 19 goals in 21 appearances with the club.
