Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini admits they must step up a gear if they're to compete with Inter Milan this weekend.
"Facing Inter in Milan is the first of a series of difficult games," Gasperini said. "We will be up against it, but this is a great chance to show an improvement away from home.
"We had a good first half against Siena and we showed great quality at times, but we didn't play so well after the break.
"The team mentality shown at the start wasn't matched after the interval and we struggled at the end.
"Perhaps we should have closed the game out earlier and that's something we need to work on."
