Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini admits he regrets his time with Inter Milan.
Gasperini lasted less than three months in the job at Inter.
"Yes, I still have regrets over Inter," Gasperini told Gazzetta TV.
"It was a huge chance for me and I should have made the most of it.
"But I didn't have enough time to work - at the beginning there was an initial rejection about some ideas that eventually proved to be not that wrong.
"The club has changed a lot now - there is a new President and a lot of new players.
"I can imagine the pressure Walter Mazzarri is under at the moment, but he is still a very knowledgeable Coach.
"I believe that the situation Inter and Milan are in is just temporary. Both teams appear to be well structured and I think they can do much better than now.
"It's just the start, so I think that they will be back where they belong in the table."
