Genoa coach Davide Ballardini admits their survival chances are on a knife edge after their 1-1 draw with SPAL.
SPAL went behind to an extremely dubious penalty that also saw Francesco Vicari sent off just 28 minutes in.
“We were generous, in a good and a bad way. We tried very hard, but also gifted our opponents too many chances and spaces," Ballardini told Rai Sport.
“I don't think our safety will be decided next week. There are still so many games to go and they are all important.
“I will say that our attitude, hunger and quality bode well for the final weeks of the season."
