Olympique Lyon coach Bruno Genesio is eager to see teenage striker Willem Geubbels secured to a pro deal.

Just 16, Guebbels has Europe's biggest clubs chasing his signature, including Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

Genesio stated: "We are in a discussion. We have arrived at a key moment, everyone has the elements to make the right decision for the well-being of the player.

"It does not bother me, it's part of the job, to have this sort of thing happen. It does not influence me in my sports thinking."

OL president Jean Michel Aulas stated last week: "I think he's going to sign.

"Willem wants to stay in Lyon, I think he'll convince his Dad and his lawyer."
