Lyon coach Bruno Genesio insists there's no boardroom pressure over his treatment of Memphis Depay.

The former Manchester United attacker was dropped for last week's draw with Dijon, though has now been welcomed back by Genesio.

The coach stated: "For Memphis, it's not a sanction. He knows it. It has been discussed. I am close enough to my players not to leave them out. It was a choice. As of tomorrow, he will have the opportunity to return to the group and show his qualities.

"I read that I had been pressured by my leadership. Which is wrong. I do not get any pressure from anybody internally... just to cut short the famous rumours."
