Gelson Martins is furious Sporting Lisbon have rejected an offer from Arsenal.

According to A Bola, the Portuguese club have knocked back the Gunners bid of £26m.

The Portugal international is amongst a host of Sporting players who want to leave the club following a turbulent end to the season, in which a minority section of fans attacked players and staff at the club's training facility.

Metro report that Sporting want £39m for Martins, who has a release clause of £53m in his contract.

It is unclear at this stage whether Arsenal will up their bid for the 23-year-old.
