Rino Gattuso admits Inter Milan have the edge on AC Milan ahead of the derby.
The Rossoneri host Inter on April 3, with momentum certainly with their city rivals.
"Victories are the ones that give you confidence," Gattuso said. "Inter have the edge right now having progressed to the Champions League quarter-finals and after recovering in the league."
To add spice to the upcoming derby, it will be the first time that Inter coach Leonardo will take on the team he played for from 1997 until 2001 and coached last season.
Leonardo joined Inter in January after leaving the Rossoneri last summer.
"It will be strange to see Leonardo on the other side," Gattuso admitted. "But he is getting good results.
"For me, he (Leonardo) will be just a rival."
