Sampdoria sports chief Sergio Gasparin says they're ready for tonight's Champions League qualifier against Werder Bremen.

Samp face the first-leg in Germany.

"We are concentrated on this hugely important sporting objective," director general Gasparin told Sky Sport Italia.

"There is so much motivation and the fact we could reach the group phase by eliminating a strong side like Werder Bremen is far more important than any economic value.
