Richard Garlick has been confirmed as Wets Bromwich Albion's sporting and technical director.
Garlick was put in temporary charge after Dan Ashworth's departure for the FA.
Chairman Jeremy Peace said: "Richard has settled into his new role admirably and has earned his permanent appointment. We now look forward to him further stamping his mark on the post."
