Ricardo Gardner is staying with Bolton Wanderers.

The Sun says Gardner has agreed a one-year deal at Bolton after a move to West Ham fell through.

His agent Phil Graham said: "It was very tempting for Ricardo to go and play for Sam Allardyce.

"But he didn't particularly want to relocate, nor did his family."

Jamaican Gardner, 32, has been dogged by knee injuries and accepted reduced Bolton terms.
