Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Mariano Garcia Remon has defended the treatment of Keylor Navas.
The Real keeper has been told to leave Madrid at the end of the season with the board insisting Thibaut Courtois remains No1.
Garcia Remon stated, "I don't think Madrid are being unfair to Keylor Navas, and I don't think Real Madrid's big problem now is that they have two great goalkeepers.
"When [Zinedine] Zidane decides what to do with Luca, it's because he's sure that he's a great goalkeeper as he wouldn't risk exposing him."
Garcia Remon also took aim at Gareth Bale.
"Some of the players have had a very bad season and it's shown that they can't play here.
"[Gareth] Bale is one of them as this year he was given the chance to succeed and become the main man, but he couldn't take it."
