'Game you'll never forget' as Tottenham down Leicester with two injury-time goals

Tottenham Hotspur secured one of the most dramatic wins of the season against Leicester City at the King Power on Wednesday.

With the clock entering injury time, Spurs scored twice to comeback from 2-1 down to claim a 3-2 victory which could prove vital in their pursuit of a top-four spot.

Antonio Conte's side mustered 27 shots in the match but went behind when Patson Daka pounced to open the scoring after 24 minutes.

Harry Kane got Spurs back on track with his customary goal against Leicester to even the scores before half-time.

The match was poised for an exciting second-half but few could have predicted the eventual outcome.

Leicester threw the first punch when James Maddison restored Leicester's lead with fourteen minutes remaining.

The Englishman combined with substitute Harvey Barnes before slotting calmly past Hugo Lloris.

It looked as though Leicester would inflict Tottenham's first Premier League loss with Antonio Conte in charge.

But the Italian's substitute, Steven Bergwijn, had other ideas.

With 95 minutes on the clock, the Netherlands international first levelled the scores after a pass from Matt Doherty.

Bergwijn then rounded Kasper Schmeichel before squeezing the ball past Caglar Soyuncu to give Tottenham the win with 97 minutes played.

The away bench and away fans understandably went mental after this goal as Spurs move to within one point of fourth-placed West Ham United with two games in hand.

Speaking after the game, Spurs star Kane told BT Sport: "What a rollercoaster of emotions that was. Overall we deserved the victory. We were the better side. Disappointed to go 2-1 down but we were creating the chances.

"We never gave up and Stevey came on and made the difference. To get two goals like that - these are games you will never forget in a career."
